2: Steps in Festival Gardens - First Look

The grass in Festival Gardens on Cannon Street is usually inaccessible to the public. Throughout September there will be a row of steps opening the lawn to people for the first time since it was built in the 1960s.

1: Grass on Peter's Hill - First Look

As promised, here are some photos of the first urban experiment in the City. Peter's Hill is a busy route between St Paul's Cathedral and the Millenium bridge and a key entrance to City. On Thursday (3/09/2009) 100m² of turf was laid to see how else the space could be used. The grass stayed until Sunday (7/09/2009) evening.
